Remember what I have explained in my previous post on FCE essays 1.- Introduce the topic : NEVER DO THIS: Nowadays there are a lot of famous film stars, why?so in this essay I will talk about the advantages and disadvantages of some aspects. 2.- Don't forget that you are given two points and you have to add a third point which is not your opinión. DON¨T DO THIS: In conclusion I think that one of the biggest advantage is the money, but apart from that I think you have a very stressful life. Thanks to those who have sent me your writings. Some of you have asked me to explain how to write a review. Here are some tips: You practised it in unit 4, and you have ideas on page 206 of the book (writing reference Before you start writing: } - Brainstorm ideas:use interesting vocabulary. } - try to catch the reader’s interest. } - be organised . } - use a neutral style: check who will read it. -use adjectives to describe and say how you feel about it Structure: First paragraph : introduce the item reviewed , mention the author of the book ( of the stars /director of the film.) Second paragraph : state facts ( plot ….) Third paragraph : opinion Fourth paragraph : sum up and give a recommendation

You must pay attention to what you have to do For FCE: They give you two ideas and you add an idea of your own: In the essay you are doing now the ideas are teachers subjects and you must add another idea to support the thesis so you can not  do introductio, idea 1, idea 2 and your opinión. YOU MUST CLEARLY HAVE THREE IDEAS AND IN THE LAST TWO LINES YOU CAN GIVE YOUR OPINION FOR ADVANCED: From the three ideas they give you must choose two. Don´t mess them up. In the last paragraph you must clearly say which of the two ideas you have chosen as the most important. Stay safe!!!!!

I have decided to create this blog to be able to upload information and links that may be useful. And send you some ideas.
