HOW TO WRITE A REVIEW

Some of you have asked me to explain how to write a review. Here are some tips: You practised it in unit 4, and you have ideas on page 206 of the book (writing reference

Before you start writing:

}- Brainstorm ideas:use interesting vocabulary.

}- try to catch the reader’s interest.

}- be organised.

}- use a neutral style: check who will read it.
-use adjectives to describe and say how you feel about it
Structure:


First paragraph: introduce the item reviewed, mention the author of the book (of the stars/director of the film.)

Second paragraph: state facts ( plot….)

Third paragraph: opinion

Fourth paragraph: sum up and give a recommendation
