MISTAKE 3 : USING THE WHEN YOU SHOULDN`T (M3)

THE:  It is only used in english when it is specific. Never if it is generic.  If we talk about education, in spanish we say la educación.... but never in english.

Examples of mistakes you have made:


It is a good TV series for the teenagers

The technology has entered in our life

Although the education is really important....

From now on, you will find M3 in my corrections.

REPORTED SPEECH: COMMANDS

 A COMAND IS AN ORDER In english we give orders using the base form of the verb , and it is the only time we don't use a subject. Teachers and parents are used to giving orders. The government too. Stop complaining. Don't bounce. Tidy your room. Stay at home You need to introduce a verb that indicates the command immediately followed by  to + infinitive   if negative  not +to +infinitive My mom told me to stop complaining She told me not to bounce
