MISTAKES 2: VERBAL TENSE

Pay attention to see if you are writing in the present or the past and stick to the verbal tense you have decided:

Mistakes:

I was impressed when all these crimes happen

She doesn’t appeared

Corrected:

I was impressed when all these crimes happened
She doesn’t appear/ She didn't appear

Or

When you decide to put the past to an infinitive instead of the verb (double mistake):

Mistake:

She decide to learned

Corrected

She decided to learn

From now on if you have a mistake in a verbal tense  I am going to write M2

REPORTED SPEECH: COMMANDS

A COMAND IS AN ORDER In english we give orders using the base form of the verb , and it is the only time we don't use a subject. Teachers and parents are used to giving orders. The government too. Stop complaining. Don't bounce. Tidy your room. Stay at home You need to introduce a verb that indicates the command immediately followed by  to + infinitive   if negative  not +to +infinitive My mom told me to stop complaining She told me not to bounce
